This paper focuses on changes in potential drops over different parts of a two-compartment electrodialtyic cell during process developed for P recovery from sewage sludge ash and simultaneous removal heavy metals. The has two compartments separated by cation exchange membrane. suspension is the anode compartment. major aim this work to obtain knowledge needed optimize energy consumption process. Initially, low conductivity caused relatively high resistance itself. adjacent catholyte contrast with pH. A membrane resistivity was seen because concentration pH gradients. During treatment, gradients leveled out and, overall voltage reached level.
